All applications share a single user sign on & authentication (SSO) and a shared data store.  Utilizing microservices architecture, each app on the platform provides a specific purpose built business function, built to the eModal development standard & independent of the other apps.  So the apps run independently to optimize performance communicating with each other using standard APIs.
