The Advent eModal Launchpad program is a performance-based pathway for young college grads to transition into full-time Advent eModal employees. Join the Advent eModal team and become a part of our global effort to optimize the supply chain by digitizing the flow of intermodal freight and funds and removing friction as containers change hands. The Advent eModal Launchpad gives college undergraduates in their final semester the opportunity to work remotely in a flexible, engaging workplace on live global projects involving global transportation giants, including the largest marine terminal operators in the world.​

Work from Anywhere
Since we are currently fully remote, the Trainee Engineer role allows college students in their final semester the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere, requiring only the equipment you would need to attend an online virtual class or workshop.

Advent eModal Trainee Engineers will get to work in truly diverse, global teams, giving them early career exposure to peers and mentors working at the frontiers of logistics and IoT-based software development internationally.

Advent eModal Launchpad Highlights

26-Week Intensive Internship
The Advent eModal Launchpad onboards college undergraduates in their eighth and final semester, providing them the skills, exposure, and opportunity to shape a career building cutting-edge, impactful software. After strengthening core programming skills, trainee engineers will work with with RESTful APIs that impact real-world logistics on live projects, working in teams with peers and mentors from all over the globe.​
Real World Exposure
Trainee Engineers will learn to build and deploy apps over the cloud, exposing them to ASP.NET Web API, OWIN, OAUTH, C#, Angular, and the Azure Cloud Infrastructure. The 42-week Internship will enable students to shape their roles, with trainees able to transition into full-time specializations such as full stack engineer, data engineer, automation engineer, and azure infrastructure engineer upon graduation.​
Personal Mentoring
Given the engineering team’s vast portfolio of engineering projects, trainee engineers will have access to personal mentoring from top-tier experts in the industry. At Advent, we are structuring a global, diverse workplace that empowers young engineers—giving them autonomy, ownership, and the freedom to put forward their ideas and opinions, along with mentor-enabled expertise that helps them thrive in the industry.​

Selection Process

As part of the recruitment drive for Advent eModal Launchpad, our resources will visit campuses and initiate the selection and onboarding process for trainee engineers.
✓ ​Advent leaders will visit select campuses and introduce the Advent eModal Launchpad Program
✓ ​Interested candidates will be able to apply for the internship through our website
✓ ​Prospective candidates must take online assessments that measure cognitive ability, programming skills, and general technical aptitude
✓ ​Our team of in-house experts will then evaluate the profiles of prospective candidates
✓ ​We will then reach out to the selected candidates with offer letters and details concerning the start and end dates of the internship
✓ ​After welcoming new members into the Advent eModal family, we will begin onboarding them onto the 42-week internship program
✓ ​After assessing trainee engineers throughout the internship, each intern will receive feedback and a performance-based pathway for full-time engineering roles with Advent eModal after graduation
